For a closeup
with the majestic Everest we take you on a ride to Lukla,
the gateway to Everest. The gigantic structure of Everest
aspires a deep sense of appreciation and respect for the
beauty of nature.
Our trip
begins from Kathmandu on a clear early morning. We fly over
Nagarkot, Dolalghat, Charikot, Jiri, Lamjura and Junbesi to
Lukla. After a stopover at Lukla, we take you in groups of 3
on the anticipated Mountain flight.
We fly
through over Namche village, Gokyo valley and emerald Gokyo
lake to Lobuche. Eventually Cho Yu, Amadablam, Thamserku, Lhotse, Nuptse and Everest reveal in
their glory. This tour further takes you closer to Everest
base camp.
On our return we stop over at Thangboche Monastery
for a brief visit. One of the very famous monasteries in the
world Thangboche
monastery at 12,500 ft AMSL was initiated by Jatang Chotar
[Lama Gulu] in 1919. You could be lucky to celebrate Mani
Rimdu if you visited in autumn. From Thangboche monastery we
fly back to Kathmandu with a short stop over at Lukla.
